Tomatoes and cucumbers are the most in-demand vegetables in Belarus. Their prices are high. Overseas coconuts and pineapples remain on the shelves, despite their affordable cost.

The lowest price is for carrots, cabbage, and potatoes from last year’s harvest. New-crop vegetables will be much more expensive.

Belarusian vegetable assortment is enhanced with Indian sweet corn, Uzbek radishes, Chinese garlic, Spanish celery and sweet potatoes.

It should be noted that imported fruits can be twice as cheap as Belarusian tomatoes. So instead of buying one kilogram of tomatoes, you can buy two kilograms of Egyptian oranges, Ecuadorian bananas, or Serbian apples.

But not all fruits can be called affordable. The priciest products on the Belarusian market include green grapes from India, Colombian avocados, Margarita pears from Turkey, and numerous others. The undisputed price champion can be considered blueberries from Spain.
